Much of the parish is covered by the Neighbourhood Watch Scheme.

The role of the shceme is to be a focal point for communication between householders and the Police, for information sharing only and not for emergency contact.

The scheme in the village is very informal and consists mainly of a watching brief by neighbours on behalf of others.  Scheme co-ordinator, Mr John Upshall, is made aware of any isolated instances of break-ins and vandalism which have already been reported to the Police.

As co-ordinator, Mr Upshall attends regular meetings at Tadley Police Station together with other NW area co-ordinators and WPC Miriam Edwards.

Neighbourhood Watch information is distributed to all households as necessary and as it becomes available.  This serves as a useful reminder to residents of the value of the scheme and the steps to be taken should anything untoward be seen or occur in their vicinity.
