Churches

There are two churches in the Parish - Pamber Priory and All Saints Church.  The Rector of the parish is:

Both churches are in use, both on Sundays and occasionally during the week.

All Saints Church lies to the south of the village and dates from between the 10th and 14th centuries, with minor restoration works being carried out in 1851 and 1887.  It is constructed of flint and has a clay tile roof and a tile hung bell turret.

All Saints is part of the Parish of the Sherbornes with Pamber and shares in ministry with Pamber Priory and St Andrew's at Sherborne St. John. The Church's priority is to preach the gospel and to teach the Bible, which is done on Sundays and at various meetings on weekdays (for example there are two house groups meetings in Monk Sherborne where people from the village gather to read the Bible together and to discuss its message).

Bell ringing practice takes place here on Thursday evenings.

Pamber Priory is situated at the northern end of the village.  It contains the remains of the Benedictine Priory, which was founded in 1110AD.
